Industrial Sheet Metal has been in the business of manufacturing and installing metal products and ventilation systems used in the industrial and cleanroom environments since 1964.

We have been supporting many of Orange County and LA County's largest companies for many years. For some it is our ability to design and install new exhaust ventilation systems or add new offices to their air handler distribution system. For some it is our ability to provide quick response for the repair of their cooling towers, chillers, exhaust fans or other ventilation repairs. Still others use our experience and ability to provide repair or replacement of their poly-pro and stainless steel tanks.

A list of some of the many projects we have completed

Cleanroom Projects

Stainless Steel Wall Panels - In high traffic areas where drywall is continuously damaged, we install stainless steel panels for many hi-tech and pharmaceutical companies.

Stainless Steel Bootie Rack - Fabricated from perforated material with round bar dividers and adjustable levelers. The finished Rack was electropolished.

Stainless Steel Floor Sinks - Most were 12" square with ¼"x1" thick grating and electropolished. One was 24 feet long!

Stainless Steel Cart - Heavy duty. Fabricated from 2'x3/16" angle.

Stainless steel Tank Platform - Anchored to a concrete wall, this platform required a 15-ft. ladder with a safety cage to access it. All parts were electropolished.

Man Recovery Hoist Frames - These stainless steel frames were designed, fabricated and installed to hoist a person from large pharmaceutical tanks should he become injured.

Polished Stainless Steel Platforms with Ladders - Used by a major pharmaceutical manufacturer to ease access to mixing tanks. Constructed from square tubing and diamond plate, these units were anchored to concrete walls.

Portable Cleanroom Frame - Will have soft walls, Fan powered HEPA filters and lights. Frame is mounted on casters

Trays used by a major pharmaceutical manufacturer - Fabricated 20" x 48" stainless steel trays used in an autoclave process. Each tray had over 1,000 3/8" diameter holes punched in it and were electropolished.

Fabricated Metal Projects

Heavy-duty stainless steel racks - Support frames and stainless steel pallets to support up to 3 tons.

Work Stands - Fabricated from square tubing

Interlocking Drip Pans - 14 ft x 4 ft Fabricated from galvanized steel to control the leakage from a leaking lathe.

1,000 Degrees F - Fabricated a steel cover with 2 windows used in the testing of aircraft parts.

Grinder chip collection - Hoods for a grinder were manufactured so that the sides of the hoods can be opened without the use of tools to make changing the grinding wheels easier.

Heat & Fume Exhaust Projects

Glue Fume Evacuation - Fumes from glue used by a plastics fabricator were making the work environment intolerable. A side hood was mounted to the back of the workstation ducted to a blower on the roof.

Glue Fume Evacuation - A hood system was designed to capture the glue fumes from completed PCB's as well as having (3) local hoods that can be moved close to the work.

Compressor room airflow - (2) Axial fans producing 12,000 CFM with sound attenuator, (3) large vertically mounted insulated ducts were installed to provide adequate airflow.

LARGE hood to remove moisture - 7 ft x 10 ft Stainless steel hood was manufactured and installed along with a blower system to remove moisture from the air space above parts.

LARGE hood to remove heat - 8.5 ft x 16-ft Galvanized hood was fabricated and installed along with an 8,000-CFM blower system to remove heat from the air space above parts.

New Construction - Installed 3 blowers with a total of 30 drops to remove heat from furnaces and ovens and fumes from assembly stations. Installed a ventilator and make-up air ducting to remove heat from compressor room.

Cooling of Electrical Cabinets - Used for the control of equipment used to fabricate plastic pipe, these (6) cabinets were over heating. A blower was mounted on the roof to bring in cooler air to the cabinets. An A/C unit may be added to the system this summer.
